Theresa Lalonde is from the western arctic town of Inuvik. That’s where she started working for CBC Radio while still in high-school. She’s also worked in Ontario, Nova Scotia and BC for both local and network programs. While not an early adopter of social media, she’s a huge enthusiast and now trains students and fellow journalists in ways to collaborate with the audience to tell better stories. She hosted a campus radio show in Ottawa called “Harmonic Disturbance” and continues to like loud guitar. She learned to love opera and classical while working for CBC Music. She lives in Burnaby with her husband and two kids.
